1. Waheeda Rahman played Amitabh Bachchan’s mother and lover. He played his love interest in “Adalat” (1976) and his mother in “Trishul” (1978).

2. Aamir Khan’s “Lagaan” has the most single British actors in the history of Bollywood movies.

3. Sunil Dutt was originally the RJ for Ceylon Radio and wanted to interview his favorite actress Nargis. But he couldn’t say a word in front of her and the interview had to be canceled. Years later, when he finally had the opportunity to work with her in “Mother India” (1957), they fell in love and got married.

4. In the movie “The Heroine”, Karina Kapoor wore more than 130 different dresses designed by the best fashion designers from around the world. According to reports, Karina’s movie wardrobe is one of the most expensive Bollywood movies ever.

5. Saif Ali Khan was Shahrukh Khan’s original choice for the role in “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge”. In fact, it’s hard to believe that Tom Cruise was also considered for the role of Raj Malhotra!
